”Art 14. Protection of objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population
Starvation of civilians as a method of combat is prohibited. It is therefore prohibited to attack, destroy, remove or render useless for that purpose, objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population such as food-stuffs, agricultural areas for the production of food-stuffs, crops, livestock, drinking water installations and supplies and irrigation works.”

Hoewel toch reeds op de hoogte van een groot aantal oorlogsmisdaden [1] en misdaden tegen de menselijkheid [2] van bezettingsmacht Israel [3], heb ik met verbijstering en geschoktheid kennisgenomen van de aanval van Israelische marinecommando’s op het hulpconvooi Freedom Flotilla
Hierbij zijn tenminste 19 mensen om het leven gekomen
De Freedom Flotilla, bestaande uit een aantal schepen uit verschillende landen met hulpgoederen voor Gaza aan boord, is inmiddels door de Israelische marine naar de Israelische stad Ahsdod overgebracht.
